The Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club invites families to join in on our 2nd Annual Christmas Bird Count for Kids at the Ojibway Nature Centre. Learn how to identify and count birds with local experts, hike the trails and contribute to citizen science. The goal of this event is to promote nature appreciation, ecological literacy, and environmental stewardship in the next generation of naturalists.

Hot chocolate and light snacks to be provided.

Bring your binoculars and field guides if you have them. Some extra binoculars will be on hand. Be sure to dress for the weather as we will be outdoors for a large portion of the time.
