Our guest presenters will be Jackie Serran, the remedial action plan co-ordinator for the Detroit River Canadian Cleanup, and Gina Pannunzio, the Essex Region Conservation Authority’s partnerships and outreach co-ordinator. Jackie will provide an update on the cleanup progress, share preliminary results of the fish consumption survey and highlight some habitat work taking place in the watersheds. To wrap up, Gina will share some of the outreach events taking place in the spring, including community restoration projects, watershed cleanups, invasive species pulls, nature hikes and more.
